2 of us are local musician / singer Ian Connor and his performing partner of many years , prior to coming to live in France ,

Graham Mizen.

They have written and recorded their own material over the years , but on this re-union occasion will be performing songs of their choice from previous eras including the 60's , 70's to the 90's . Could be a treat for those who like to hear good tight harmonies with a couple of guitars.---------

Welcome party at Limoges airport for the lord provost of Edinburgh

Mayor Of Le Dorat meets Lord & Lady Provost of Edinburgh

Lord & Lady Provost were invited to France by Lynn & Jonathan Millar proprietors of La Petite Fontaine in Le Dorat, On Saturday 4th April; they had a warm welcome from the Mayor of Le Dorat, M Jardell.,   M & Mme Jardell gave the distinguished  guests from Edinburgh the Capital city of Scotland, a tour of the Marie, and guided tour of the magnificent collegial in le Dorat, Lord provost says “We have had one of the warmest welcomes from the people of le Dorat and will be taking all the good wishes back to Scotland, we will also be promoting this beautiful town  and its surrounding areas to all the people of Edinburgh, with the introduction of the direct flights from Limoges to Edinburgh this will also encourage people from France to visit the wonderful city of Edinburgh”.  La Petite Fontaine hosted a buffet dinner in honour of his visit which will help promote tourism between France and Scotland the buffet was attended by the Mayor, Business association, & office de tourism of le Dorat and the limousion. The lord & Lady Provost stayed the night at La Petite Fontaine before leaving to visit other parts of the limousin hosted by Welcome en Limousin, Lynn Millar says “It was a great honour to receive such a prestige visit that will raise the profile of le Dorat and the Limousin   and hopefully it will encourage tourism in the area”. The Lord & Lady Provost will leave France on Monday to return to Edinburgh.
